I can confirm this bug.  Just installed Hardy on SDHC card of Asus eee
pc.  Have to launch virtual terminal to get to desktop.
/var/log/messages shows:

Reinstalling gnome-keyring packages and gdm makes no difference.  I've
also tried changing the gdmgreeter to the old gdmlogin in gdm.conf, but
again no difference.  Same thing when reinstalling Hardy.  At the first
launch I can login through gdm, but after getting to the desktop I get a
message about gnome-keyring crashing. After that no more logins are
possible.
