Thanks. However, the latest package doesn't seem to have fixed any of my problems with either of my onboard laptop webcams. I have a Microdia cam on an MSI PR200 and a Sonix cam on an HP dv2000z. Both programs start up Cheese properly, but the video tears when dragging windows on the PR200 (Intel X3100 chipset with desktop effects enabled). Video can't be recorded. On the HP laptop, video doesn't lag when dragging the window (Nvidia 6150SE graphics), but no video can be recorded. I've posted bugs about each problem and will follow-up.
