Started poking around with the 20080419.1 LiveCD and suddenly, it won't even accept the password anymore. On the Desktop install it still does, though it fails to automount the crypto-drive after opening.
Judging from the log I think it's a concurrency problem at HAL level, happening because the mapped volume is probed too early by HAL (hald- probe-volume), sometimes before it's actually opened by cryptsetup (key slot 0 unlocked). ** Attachment added: "hal.log" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/13577576/hal.log ** Changed in: gnome-mount (Ubuntu) Status: Confirmed => Invalid -- [Hardy] Regression: External crypto-drives are not automounted after given password https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/217749 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
