this has been a perennial nag since online upgrade from 7.10 yesterday. it crashed my ubuntu-studio about 5 minutes ago (why, i don't know: i was loading in prboom at the time, not even using it. it also crashed your launchpad site entry-way, too, when i attempted to report the studio crash.) i had this problem (among several lethal kernel probs) about 3 weeks ago during an aborted upgrade attempt. keep up the good work. -O.
