This bug was fixed in the package speech-dispatcher - 0.6.6-0ubuntu8 --------------- speech-dispatcher (0.6.6-0ubuntu8) hardy; urgency=low
* Disable speech-dispatcher from starting at system boot. This ensures that users using another speech system such as gnome-speech, or users using pulseaudio, will still be able to use speech/pulseaudio after a system restart. (LP: #213755) * Use PulseAudio output by default for all modules that support it. -- Luke Yelavich <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Thu, 17 Apr 2008 20:27:02 +1000 ** Changed in: speech-dispatcher (Ubuntu) Status: In Progress => Fix Released -- speech dispatcher blocks audio device https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213755 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
