I also get the message that the jre is faulty at startup of openoffice,
although I have sun-java-jre 1.5 and 1.6 installed. When I go to the options,
both jres are recognized, but selecting one doesn't save the setting. Next time
I start openoffice, I get the same message 'faulty jre' again. I don't have gcj
installed. hardy with all updates, openoffice 2.4.
I'd appreciate any help.
