Well according to the latter link, it seems that this is not an upstream bug, but a problem with a patch from Debian (which Ubuntu uses). I don't know what that patch is supposed to do, but I think I'd rather have a non-crashing postscript support in okular ! (By the way, kghostview works just fine. Is it also using libgs ?)
