Hi everyone I hope this helps, but updates are very important. When I downloaded and installed Hardy Beta, PulseAudio didn't work on my laptop, with audio issues and volume control issues. These have all been fixed in the weeks following. So, can I suggest that you install all updates (incl the kernel ones, which I think is now 2.6.24-16) and try it all again?
