unfortunately a quick browse of the upstream patches didn't find one that jumped out at me as the obvious one. So, I'm going to leave this one for now, until I get a chance to build more -intel packages with more variations in what quirks are included and so on, so we can see if we can reproduce the bug on one of these versions.
