I'm having the same problem. All my USB devices as fine for months then, suddenly, my M$ wireless mouse stops working. The funny thing is, the keyboard and the mouse use the same receiver, and my keyboard is fine (yep, that's right, I'm just using a keyboard :s). It's just the mouse that's affected. I've tried the irqpoll workaround as suggested above, but it didn't have any affect. Boo.
