Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: pidgin

When you add a new Jabber buddy, you get a dialogue box with fields
"Screen name" and "Alias". I guess "screen name" has a technical meaning
with AIM, but it doesn't for XMPP, so it's not immediately clear where
to put the JID (which is the equivalent concept for XMPP). Selecting an
XMPP account in the "account" menu should change "Screen name" to "JID"
or "Address" or something else clearer than "Screen name".
