I don't think this bug is related Compiz, since I experience it without using Compiz...
** Description changed: Binary package hint: contact-lookup-applet I'm on Ubuntu Hardy (Beta) and I use the 0.16 version of the contact- lookup-applet with the regular Gnome/Evolution address book, with data in it. Here's the problem: when I add the contact-lookup-applet on my taskbar, - nothing happens, i.e. it seems freeze and doesn't allow me to enter - anything. + nothing happens, i.e. it freezes and doesn't allow me to enter anything. Previous to my upgrade to Hardy, with Ubuntu Gutsy, the applet was working for a while, but would freeze sooner or later.
