Public bug reported: Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
I'm using the xmonad window manager, which does automatic tiling of windows, but also automatically puts 'transient' windows (like file choosers) in the floating layer so they don't disturb the window layout. Unfortunately xchat-gnome's network connection and channel list dialogues get managed like normal windows so they suddenly take up half the screen when they open. This is probably because they're not marked as transient. ** Affects: xchat-gnome (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- (gutsy) network and channel list dialogues should be marked transient https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/216427 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
