Binary package hint: compiz
1. Ubuntu release: 8.10 - Hardy Heron Beta Release
2. Package: compiz 1:0.7.4-0ubuntu4
3. If I use a fullscreen game, when compiz is enabled, the screensaver start,
when it reach the time limit, but I use the game (keyboard & mouse).
This is a test method.
1. Set the gnome-screensaver to 1 minute.
2. Install dosbox. - sudo apt-get install dosbox
3. Start dosbox in fullscreen mode. - dosbox -fullscreen
4. Wait one minute and use the keyboard and mouse.
5. When screensaver reach the time limit, dosbox goes back in windowed mode,
start the screensaver, and dosbox switch back to fullscreen.
I'm not sure that is a compiz or gnome-screensaver bug, but only if compiz
enabled.
This is a problem in every fullscreen mode application (games).
