Public bug reported:

This problem was occurring in Gutsy so I upgrade to Hardy today and it
still exists. After running for a few hours the system is so bogged
down with high memory consumption that it's necessary to restart. Here
is a line from ps aux that rapidly increments in memory consumption.

root 5190 5.9 13.4 88764 68208 tty7 Ss+ 13:32 15:03
/usr/bin/X :0 -br -audit 0 -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth -nolisten tcp vt7

I don't know how to determine exactly where it's coming from so let me
know what I need to do. Thanks.
