Per the kernel team's bug policy, can you please attach the following
information.  Please be sure to attach each file as a separate
attachment.

* cat /proc/version_signature > version.log
* dmesg > dmesg.log
* sudo lspci -vvnn > lspci-vvnn.log

It also might be good to wait to capture your dmesg output until after
you trigger the issue.  Maybe some interesting logs will get written to
help debug.

I'm also curious what happens if you boot with the 'all_generic_ide'
option.  Not sure if it will help or not.
