Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gvfs

I recently reinstalled Ubuntu on my home machine. So when connecting to
it from work through Places -> Connect To Server -> SSH, the gnome-panel
freezes for about 10 seconds, then I get an error message saying
"Timeout reached". I know it's because the RSA key was changed when I
reinstalled Ubuntu at home because connecting from the terminal using
the ssh command tells me the key is different from the known key and
answering yes allows me to connect.

The workaround for this is to delete or rename the file
"~/.ssh/known_hosts", but Gnome should give you a proper message stating
the key difference, rather than giving a timeout message.
