This is not reproducible on Hardy as I've tested in my VM now. Although, at home I have Hardy with Compiz/Emerald as I have here on Gutsy where this bug still persist and I thought that might be the case. I'm not sure if compiz/emerald does something with the "tab" objects. I'll test and let You know.
