I do not have this issue on Hardy AMD64. Videos play fine. Is there a particular video that is crashing? Do you know what video driver you are using? Additionally, can you post a log of what happens when you type this in the terminal? First close all Firefox windows, then type $ firefox Errors may be printed in the terminal.
