Tried upgrading from the command line recovery mode root shell, still does not boot. Using Alternate "Daily" for 2008 04 02 [hardy-beta-current- alternate-i386] Ubuntu boots up showing usplash progress bar but no Ubuntu logo, then reboots before getting to the login screen. Attached you will find standard logs taken from the "Daily" installation.
