After researching your response, there is no .conkyrc file installed by default. That is my error. The .conkyrc file was created from a previous installation. I missed deleting this file.
I was confused because the problems with the "default" .conkyrc were confirmed in the Hardy Development forum thread (listed above). Therefore, I did not check the distro package. There is no dependence on mpd (after the .conkyrc file is deleted). One warning remains in /etc/conky/conky.conf: Conky: use_spacer should have an argument of left, right, or none. 'no' seems to be some form of 'false', so defaulting to none. Changing from: use_spacer no To: use_spacer none will remove the warning. -- Ubuntu .conkyrc file has unused References https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212913 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
