I'm having the same problem on an Asus M3A motherboard with Intel HDA
audio. When resuming from suspend or hibernate, the audio is lost.
Here's some info on the hardware / drivers:

 Let me know if there's anything else that's needed (and give me a hint
on how to get it plz... ;)
