Do you run Wireshark as root or as your normal user? Does the bookmarks problem occur when you run it as your everyday user? It is best to close all Firefox windows before performing each part of the tests. If you are unsure what is the difference between running it as root and as a normal user, please tell me and I'll explain what that means and how to tell. If the problem persists when you run Wireshark as your everyday user, can you please attach a screenshot of Firefox when the bookmarks are hidden by Wireshark help and another screenshot of Firefox when everything is OK and the bookmarks are not hidden? -- Wireshark wipes firefox settings & bookmarks https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156990 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
