Thanks for looking after my problem! The answer is yes to all three questions. It does have bluetooth and it works in windows. And the same button turns the wireless and the bluetooth on and off.
I'm also having troubles with the wifi on the laptop. I just discovered that wlan only works if I boot in windows, turn the wifi on then boot back to Ubuntu.
