Hello,

I use the Feisty Fawn with Gnome. Open any application that uses the
standard Open/Save gtk window (eg OpenOffice.Org). Open Any File that the
application is able to read. Work (or not) with it, Save (or not) and close
(or not) the file. Close (or not) the application. Now, open the Gnome Menu
"Shortcut" on the upper desk bar. In the sub menu "Recent document" that
shows recent opened documents, you will not see the recently opened
document.

But the same file, if you open it from nautilus, it will appear in "Recent
Documents" sub menu of the menu "ShortCut".

What I propose is to make the open/Save gtk dialog box register documents in
the sub menu "Recent documents" of the menu ShortCut.

Cheers
