I have just tested this problem in the BETA version of Hardy. I appears to me that this is some kind of conflict between the document viewer that is built into/installed with Ubuntu by default (I think it is the program called EVINCE) and the Adobe Acrobat Reader program.
Because, I tried printing the VDOT form 760 to a file before I installed Adobe Acrobat Reader program for Linux version 8 and I could open that print file and it had NO missing characters. I then installed the Acrobat Reader program and I then went back and again attempted to print the VDOT form 760 and this time it IS missing characters. Thanks. -- Evince/CUPS Could Not Print Tax Document https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/212017 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
