SoX 14.0.1 has been out since the end of January, and fixes some important bugs in 14.0.0, particularly low-level file handling bugs dealing with things like using SoX in pipes or on full disks. I'm keen therefore both to have the convenience of a precompiled version in hardy, and to avoid the tedium of bug reports for long-fixed bugs.)
