In my case, i dont have to kill the xserver to get the keys unstuck, after 30-50 repeats everything goes back to normal. It only happens with key combinations, that is I dont see wwwwwwwwwwwwww but alt-tab, alt-f4, ctrl-n repeats forever. I'll post the same comment to those bugs I've attached, please remove them from duplicate lists as they dont have the exact same symptoms ie in both of them the key repeats are settled down after some time.
