I am trying this on Hardy livecd snapshot (downloaded on monday) with my Asus
a6l notebook. The wireless card present in the notebook is:
01:04.0 Network controller: Broadcom Corporation BCM4318 [AirForce One 54g]
802.11g Wireless LAN Controller (rev 02)
This card needs propriatary firmware installed through b43-fwcutter -
there should be item in "Hardware drivers" to install the firmware,
(like it was in Gutsy), but in default Hardy is no such thing. After
enabling "universe" drivers the option appears, but this is not what
first-time user could expect.
