Why would you ever uninstall it? It takes up practically no space and if
you do uninstall it all it does is grey out the relevant buttons in
openoffice, not make them disappear. I was thinking of students, any
science student, or indeed secondary school student will need this and
that's a large bunch of people straight off.

The issue really is that it always used to be installed by default and
all the people that do use that functionality will suddenly have it
break on them and have no idea how to fix it.
