I have the same problem.
But kded takes all the cpu even at first attempt.

I cannot mount my psp at all with kubuntu. With an USB key it works

I don't know how to remove the automount option when kde cannot display
the device.

I suffer this since kde 3.5.9 upgrade on gutsy, same issue with kde
3.5.9 on hardy
