I'm proposing this debdiff for Gutsy, it fixes three crucial bugs: - this one - a corruption of links which leads to a crash for some persons - a problem with the tray icon plugins which seems to lead to a crash for some persons.
All those fixes are already in 0.23 in Hardy. It works fine for me (this patch has been provided by the upstream author).
