Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: prism-google-mail

There is a notification popup that says "You have new email; you have
### unread emails" that is apparently built into the Gmail Prism app
which is in the repositories for Ubuntu Heron.

It's very annoying because there is no setting to turn it off, it
appears too often to be useful, gives useless information ("You have
30426 unread emails"), and it makes it impossible to access part of the
desktop until it slides down.

I can't find any options or preferences for this Prism app.

Ubuntu version: "This version (Hardy Heron) was released in April 2008
so its version number is 8.04."

** Affects: prism (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
