If you run the desktop without xgl/compiz does it still crash? Can you
get a strace of OpenOffice when it crashes? What version of OO.o are you
using in dapper? Can you please provide a file that is crashing if there
is no important data in it, this is a public bug tracker and would
rather noone post personal info.
