Hi Basilio, A subsequent upgrade of the Hardy alpha environment "broke" my installation. I couldn't even log in: a failed malloc in the startup of the session stopped me from even logging in in single-user mode.
I have since installed the server (64 bit) version of of Hardy beta but have not yet added a desktop environment. This time I will be installing it as a virtual guest of the Hardy server using KVM. I'll give you my feedback as soon as it's installed. Cheers, Steve Basilio Kublik wrote: > Hi Steve > do you still get this issue using the beta release of Hardy Heron? > > Thanks > > ** Changed in: gdm (Ubuntu) > Importance: Undecided => Low > Assignee: (unassigned) => Basilio Kublik (sourcercito) > Status: New => Incomplete > > -- gdm session crashes after logging in (after upgrade to 7.10) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/156653 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
