I just tested this using Hardy Beta. For starters there is no option to create an NTFS partition, so gave it a test with FAT32. Told the installer to mount the FAT32 partition as /mnt/fat32, ran through the rest of the installation steps and all was well.
Hardy installed and mounted the FAT32 partition correctly. It is a shame the option to create an NTFS partition has been removed. Better to not offer the option, than offer and crash I suppose. -- Ubuntu 6.0.6 Installer disc formatter aborted, can't mount NTFS partition https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/62871 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
