Thunderbird is using version 2.0.0.12 (20080227) and Lightning 0.7.  I
downloaded the file and had Thunderbird install the file.  I'm not sure
if that's what you're looking for.

I was able to see the error console and this is what I got.

I think I might know the problem.  I've not yet installed Java.  I'll
try it and let you know. :)
