Public bug reported:

This is on Edgy Beta, using a Thinkpad T60.

I can set the display brightness using the Fn keys on the keyboard,
however, as soon as I press the button to lower the brightness, it goes
down to 0%, not just down a bit. Same thing with the up key: it goes all
the way up instead of increasing a little only.

Using the power-manager GUI i can set any brightness, even though the
gauge shows up when dragging the sliders and shows strange values
sometimes.

** Affects: gnome-power-manager (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed

** Changed in: kde-guidance (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: kde-guidance => gnome-power-manager
