Binary package hint: usplash
This is on a Laptop with a 1400x1050 screen, on Edgy Beta.
The Splash screen shows, but the artwork chosen is one for a larger
resolution (it looks like its 1600 pixels wide) so it doesn't fit
entirely on screen.
Moreover, the upper left corner of the splash image is not in the upper
left corner of the physical screen, but maybe 200 pixels lower.
