Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: compiz

currently the default is 1.2, windows move too quickly and overshoot where they
are moving to, then move back. It looks flimsy
0.8 is so much better. glides into place smoothly, gracefully and
professionally

experienced on at least 4 computers. general consensus that 0.8 is much
better
