You have been subscribed to a public bug: I don't know howto reproduce this. I'm just running (to my knowledge) a vanilla Gutsy (kubuntu). But can some people check in kde->settings->service-manager if they all have a "KDED media manager" and a "Media notifier daemon". If I disable the latter, my problems are gone. And only one "Removable media" appears. Although it hasn't got the right icon-set, theme and all.
I can't really reproduce this, although chances are higher that it starts happening after a suspend to ram. (but when it starts, it keeps coming up twice for every device.) my first guess although I don't have much knowledge about it, is that the error is in the Suspend To Ram script. the only other thing it could be, is that I installed a lot of kde4 dependencies, could this be a cause? (the rest is a fairly vanilla Gutsy) ** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- the removable media is shown twice (kde 3.5.8) https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/181976 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kubuntu Team, which is subscribed to kdebase in ubuntu. -- kubuntu-bugs mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/kubuntu-bugs
