Binary package hint: kde-guidance
Kde-guidance has problems with resolution 1366x768 in Dapper and Edgy.
It always shows in section Display 1024x768 instead of the correct one.
This is no real problem until changing e.g. the DPMS in system settings
through this section. If you click apply the wrong resolution is saved
in ~/.kde/share/config/systemsettingsrc and is set on start instead of
1366x768 at least in Dapper. It is still saved in Edgy but I have
directly corrected the values in the configuration file until restart.
I am using an Sony TX2 Laptop with an Intel 915 onboard chip and the
i810 driver. Installation and dpkg-reconfigure detects correct
resolution for xorg.conf but it doesn't help if the wrong one is saved
in system settings.
