Make sure you're aware of the "if it eats your system I'm not responsible" clause of the GPL for hubackup :-) anyway, the 'backported' package is here (I just took the code base and rebuilt it on a clean dapper chroot) : http://muse.19inch.net/~sivan/hubackup/ make sure you retain your dependencies of the dapper hubackup version.
