This is pretty weird, since I tested this debdiff and worked for me (I don't attach a debdiff otherwise).
Anyway, this bug is known in Debian (http://bugs.debian.org/cgi- bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=470974) and won't be fixed since bakery2.3 is superseded by bakery2.4.
