(I assume with scim-qtimm you can reproduce this bug, without scim-qtimm this bug disappears, but both configurations have the same output.) I can't say for Zhengpeng, but from his output it seems he has scim set as the default input method. If you want to try to set your system as his, the following steps should achieve that: 1. Install package scim and im-switch. 2. When logged in, run "im-switch -s scim" as an ordinary user. 3. Log out and re-login.
