Hi
I read a couple of week ago this article

http://kerneltrap.org/Linux/NDISwrapper_and_the_GPL

"A change after 2.6.24 broke ndiswrapper by accidentally removing its
access to GPL-only symbols," And thought at the time that Hardy would
have supply the patched kernel version. From what i understand Linus
feels that using windows drivers taints the kernel, an violates the
symbols that had been marked for GPL-only use.
