Forgot my hardware: it's an ATI Technologies Inc RV516 [Radeon
X1300/X1550 Series], and my system is up-to-date as of a few hours ago
(let's say March 23rd, 19h00 GMT).

I'm on 64bit, and using the fglrx driver seems to freeze my entire
system (at least the video card part). So I can't test the other driver
on this system.

Btw I also found a report #194430 which says the problem went away when
reinstalling. But I'm not going to go with that solution just yet.
