I can confirm this. I am running a Hardy 64bit, alphs 6 installed and with all latest updates. However if you choose to set the bullet under the "open with"-fan to "open folder", it shows all options. I can see all the alternatives in the fan. Choosing something else gives some strange results. Sometimes it chooses another option, but not the one where the bullet is.
It is only for folders the problem exists.
