Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 8.04 beta, upgraded through update manager from 7.10:
Resizing a window through Alt-F8 or window-menu -> Resize produces expected
results - the window is resized in the correct direction - until I click to
"stop" resizing the window. The window stays in the "resizable" mode, with no
way of exiting other than Alt-F4 or restarting X.
Seems like all windows under gnome are affected by this. I am using
compiz-fusion from 7.10, and as the bug is not present without the effects
turned on, so it would seem it is related to the compiz-gnome package (have not
tested under KDE, so it could also be compiz core).

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
