My ~/.gvfs/ folder is empty as is ~/user/.gvfs as well. gvfsd, gvfsd-burn, gvfsd-computer, gvfsd-trash processes are running but are asleep.
Otherwise, i do not know how to check if GVFS Fuse is installed/running.
